Earlier this spring, my mom asked me to make her something for Mother’s Day. We had gotten a lot of adult coloring books for Christmas, and I was short on time due to college finals, so I asked her if she would like me to color a page from her. She picked out the page and I colored it. Fortunately, she said I could take as long as I wanted with it, so it ended up being finished shortly after graduation.

Not great, but it was my first time using colored pencils outside of school assignments. To quote one of my favorite instructors, I see in grayscale
